Here is my son Keller. He is 5 years old, nonverbal and was diagnosed with autism at 2 1/2.
He is a complete joy! He's taught us to slow down and appreciate the small things in life...fresh-picked apples, sprinklers, bright summer days, crunchy fall leaves...he has taught me patience and a non-judgmental view on life.
He's not a burden. We live each day, every day, to its fullest!!!
